Smile Hello!

Hello! My name is Jen, and I'm a 23 year old college student. I have always been partial to snakes, but was never allowed to have them growing up. Now that I live at school, I am getting my very first corn snake! I do have some experience with them, as I used to work in a pet store. However, I have been doing a TON of research, and getting my tank set up for my new little friend. I currently have just one male Crested Gecko who is 2 years old. I'm excited to get started on a new forum, and I hope to meet some great people!

Welcome! Be sure to post pics when you get him/her.

My mother was (and still is to a lesser extent) petrified of snakes, so I was never allowed to have one growing up, though I was constantly found to have a grass snake in my pocket while outside.

You'll have to post a photo of your crestie, too!

Welcome & yes yes please do share photos of your crestie & your new corn when you get it.

& yep my mom is terrified of snakes as well, although when I had a rack of snakes in my livingroom, she had no idea what it was and sat on the couch next to it & would make comments that she didnt want to know where the snakes were funny. Course being the GREAT daughter I am... I of course told her she had 15 or so RIGHT next to her lol.

Welcome to the forum, my fellow collegiate! And yes, they're right; it starts with just one...thought I was just going to own one, but I'm already planning on getting at least two more in the near future. Have a look around and don't hesitate if you have a question!

Can't wait to see some photos of your little ones!
