As most of you probably know, the rather new Breeders Expo Europe in Rheda, Germany was set up to offer all of us hobbyists a place where we can buy, trade, sell and show our prides and finest in a healthy, decent, well organized and above all fun environment.
After being there last weekend and having joined the group of vendors with my own table i came to notice it IS the place to be, as a vendor as well as a visitor!!
The minute we drove up to the parking lot, we got nothing but smiles, kind answers to our questions and not to forget, replies in English, since our German speech is really terrible. Inside it was no different then that.
The fascility itself is just fantastic and looks a lot like the Expo Center here in Houten. It is well-spaced, clean, well-lit and has a very good regulated climate, not the smelly, sweaty and damping halls you're in at other places.
Besides that, the organisation was just perfect, no misunderstandings whatsoever!
It was a really, really good and fun experience, this needs to be the standard!

I will definately be going there from now on, and i will ask my customers to meet there too.

This year the BEE will be held in Düsseldorf.
I have been emailing with the organiser, for a table, and for some more information.
Last year i have had a table in Rheda and that was just perfect!
Even though last year was great, the new location seems even better!
It is closer to where i live which is always good haha

Here is some more info, i still feel we as hobbyists, need to support this expo.
Hamm is a rotten stinkhole, where i really don't like to come and i'm positive other feel the same!

Compared to Rheda the Philipshalle has several advantages and some disadvantages. The hall itself (only one) is about the same size as the two in Rheda. The ground floor is made of wood, looking much better than the concrete in Rheda. Social rooms etc. are top class like in Rheda. Parking areas are better and closer. Public transport is much better since all means of transport have a station close to the venue.
What I don't like about Duesseldorf is that they offer not a large variety of extra rooms e.g. for lectures etc. But see for yourself, some pics are online at
